5th International Public Health Conference

Dr. Silsila Sherzad participated in the 5th International Public Health Conference, organized by Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar.

Dr. Sherzad presented insights on multi-morbidity with a focus on the “Moving on ABC” exploratory study and the ongoing “Moving on ABC Plus” project, which centers on depression in breast cancer survivors. Her talk highlighted the intersection of physical and mental health in long-term cancer care, and the need for integrated approaches in public health.

During the conference, Dr. Sherzad had the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, researchers, and research-based organisations zations from different countries
The discussions opened avenues for collaborative research and highlighted critical research gaps across Pakistan.
