Strengthening Partnerships: Prof. Rod Taylor’s Visit to NICVD & KIHD

For the last leg of Prof. Rod Taylor’s visit to Pakistan, the PILL Karachi team accompanied him and Prof. Imran Chaudhry on their visit to the National Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) and Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases (KIHD). We were warmly welcomed by Prof Tahir Sagheer, Executive Director NICVD, and Prof. Farhat Jafri at KIHD. Both teams as they provided us with a comprehensive overview of their state-of-the-art facilities. The visits included discussions centered around collaborative work and relationship building for the NIHR-funded ACROSS (Affordable Cardiac Rehabilitation: An Outreach Inter Disciplinary Strategic Study) project. We look forward to sustained partnerships for advancing cardiac research and rehabilitation together.
