Position: Pharmacist
Location: Karachi, Lahore & Rawalpindi
Our Ongoing Research Projects:
- Culturally Adapted Psychosocial Interventions (CaPSI) for Early Psychosis: (Agency Grant No: 480082) Assessing the effectiveness and cost-efficiency of culturally adapted CBT (CaCBT) and family intervention (CulFI) for individuals experiencing a first episode of psychosis (FEP) in low-resource settings.
- Moving on ABC: Psychosocial Care for Depressed Breast Cancer Survivors: (NIHR Grant 205561) Developing and evaluating a culturally sensitive care plan for breast cancer survivors with depression across seven work streams including trials, capacity building, and policy engagement.
- Clozapine Trial for Treatment-Resistant Bipolar Disorder (TRBD): Evaluating clozapine’s safety, tolerability, and effectiveness in stabilizing mood and reducing symptoms in individuals with treatment-resistant bipolar disorder.
Job Responsibilities:
Some of the responsibilities will be:
- Ensure safe and accurate dispensing, storage, and administration of study medications across research sites.
- Monitor compliance with medication protocols; document and report adverse events and deviations.
- Provide medication guidance to participants, addressing side effects, usage, and safety measures.
- Support medication tracking and integration into research databases for analysis and reporting.
- Work closely with researchers and clinicians to tailor medication plans based on patient needs and project goals.
- Stay updated with ethical and regulatory guidelines related to clinical research pharmacy practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (recognized institution)
Experience: Fresh graduates or those with 1+ year in pharmacy or healthcare environments.
Location: Opening in Karachi, Lahore & Rawalpindi.
