Bioethics Winter Program 2025
THE GLOBAL ETHICS LEARNING HUB (GELH) AT PAKISTAN INSTITUTE OF LIVING AND LEARNING (PILL) ORGANISED A HYBRID BIOETHICS WINTER PROGRAM FROM DECEMBER 16TH TO 20TH, 2025, CONDUCTED AT IQRA UNIVERSITY.
The second edition of the Bioethics Education Program in Pakistan was led by GELH at PILL in collaboration with Iqra University, Tameer-e-Millat University; Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics, Yale University; Manchester Global Foundation; University College London; and University of Manchester.
Building on our journey that began in 2023 with a training needs assessment among PILL researchers and a scoping event at Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU),our first Bioethics Summer Program was convened in August 2024 at Shifa College of Medicine, Islamabad. Predicated on the success of the first program, we developed the second batch (Dec, 2025) in partnership with Iqra University (IU), Yale Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics, University College London (UCL), Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, University of Manchester (UoM), University of Toronto (UoT), and Manchester Global Foundation (MGF).
