Nanopore Sequencing Meeting

A technical meeting was held with Dr. James R. Larkin (University of Oxford), Mr. Ashan Musafer (Oxford Nanopore Technologies, Dubai), representatives from Hospicare, PILL team, and the Molecular Medicine and IT team of Ziauddin University.

Discussions focused on the installation of the Oxford Nanopore sequencing platform, sequencing data storage and transfer pipeline to support the implementation of the PRADA (Prescribing the Right Agent for Depression in Adults), funded by the Wellcome Trust, project in Pakistan.

This collaborative effort represents an important milestone in strengthening genomics research infrastructure and advancing precision medicine research in Pakistan.
