The Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning (PILL) Peshawar organized a Dementia Community Awareness Session under the Baycrest Project at Rural Health Center (RHC) Shaikh Abad UC Peshawar. Attended by 37 lady health workers ,LHS . The session featured Mian Atiq Ur Rahman and Ms. Zuhra Khalid (Researcher ) who introduced the Baycrest Caregiver Tool.
Ms. Zuhra highlighted dementia signs, caregiver challenges, and the need for early recognition and reduced stigma. IEC materual were also distributed, followed by an interactive Q&A and pre/post surveys. The session ended with a commitment to continue awareness efforts at community level . PILL thanked Ms.Sana Incharge RHS , for her support .
Mian Atiq also highlighted GCEI group role in PILL through a comprehensive lecture on CEI Plan in context of community setting for engagement .
