Awareness Session on Severe Mental Health

Fizza Ameer, Simra Yaseen, Atif and Dr Arif conducted an awareness session on sever mental illnesses was held on April 25, 2025, at Nelson Mandela Hall, Sindh University, for students from the International Department, in collaboration with the Departments of Psychology and International Relations. The session focused on Schizophrenia and Severe Mental Illness. Participants were enlightened on the signs, symptoms, treatment, and early interventions for first-episode psychosis. The program aimed to reduce stigma and promote mental well-being on campus. After the session psychologist offered free counselling services to the interested participants.
