Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5 (SCID)

The PILL Team and Dr. Arif in collaboration with Sir Cowasjee Jahangir Institute of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, successfully organized a crucial one-day training session at CJ Hospital Hyderabad focusing on the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5 (SCID) for psychosis. This professional development initiative, aimed at enhancing clinical understanding and application of the SCID in diagnosing psychosis, was led by Dr. Siham Sikander, a distinguished expert serving as a Senior Research Scientist at PILL and a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Liverpool and Research and innovation lead at Manchester global foundation. The session was chaired by Dr. Nisar Ahmed Sooho, MS CJ Hospital, who distributed recognition shields among participant. The session was attended by 45 multidisciplinary mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses, emphasizing a regional commitment to standardized diagnostic practices.
