Defeat Cancer Drive in University of Central Punjab

Ms. Shamsa Mukhtar, Clinical Psychologist and Program Administrator of the Moving On ABC Project, along with Ms. Wardah Haider, Research Technologist, conducted the “Defeat Cancer” campaign event at the University of Central Punjab. During the event, Ms. Shamsa emphasized the importance and impact of the project, highlighting the significance of psychosocial support for cancer patients and encouraging active student engagement.

The students enthusiastically participated in the event and showed great interest in becoming part of the project as volunteer interns. A total of 19 BS Psychology 8th-semester students will be joining the project as assessors, interventionists, and champions under the Moving On ABC Project. Additionally, one of the faculty members also joined the project as a High-Intensity Volunteer Facilitator to support the initiative and contribute to student training and patient care activities.
