Faisalabad: Orientation on Moving on ABC held with LHWs

As part of the “Moving ABC Project”, Kainat Arslan, (Community Research Assistant) and Miss Shehla Anjum (HR) from the Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning (PILL), Faisalabad Office, conducted an orientation session with Lady Health Workers (LHWs) at the Family Health Model Clinic (FHMC)

The session introduced the project’s objectives, highlighted the vital role of LHWs in community-based identification and support of eligible participants, and discussed the importance of delivering evidence-based psychosocial interventions at the community level. The interactive discussion provided an opportunity to address questions, strengthen collaboration, and build a shared understanding of the project’s implementation strategy.
Approximately 20 LHWs expressed their willingness to collaborate with PILL and committed to supporting the project by identifying eligible patients within their communities and delivering interventions after successfully completing the required training.

This encouraging response reflects the strength of community engagement and reinforces our commitment to expanding access to quality mental health support through sustainable partnerships with frontline healthcare workers.
