Defeat Cancer Awareness & Recruitment of Champions Event held with health professionals

Under the Moving on ABC (NIHR 205561) project and the Defeat Cancer Campaign, an awareness session was conducted at the National Institute of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences.

A total of 35 students, comprising 20 female and 15 male students, participated in the session. The session focused on raising awareness about breast cancer, prevention, early detection, and the importance of seeking timely healthcare services.

All 35 participating students agreed to serve as Awareness Champions for the Defeat Cancer Campaign. They committed to sharing key cancer awareness messages with their families, friends, peers, and wider social circles, thereby helping extend the reach and impact of the campaign within their communities.
