Rawalpindi ACROSS Road Show Initiative Held In School

On 10th September 2026, an awareness session was conducted under the ACROSS Roadshow Initiative in Rawalpindi
The session was held at Government Girls High School, Ratta Amral, Rawalpindi and was attended by students of grade 10th
The program was delivered by Ms. Ushna Asad, Research Technologist with the support of Ms. Wardah Haider, Research Technologist at the Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning.

Focusing on heart issues in children and adolescents, the session highlighted the importance of early awareness and prevention strategies. Participants were guided on how lifestyle choices, timely interventions, and community education can play a vital role in reducing risks and promoting healthier futures for young people.

This initiative marked a meaningful step toward empowering youth and educators with knowledge that directly contributes towards better health outcomes in the community.
