Rawalpindi: World Heart Day Public Awareness on FM Radio
On 30 September 2026, under the ACROSS Project – Affordable Cardiac Rehabilitation: An Outreach Interdisciplinary Strategic Study (NIHR 205540), on the occasion of World Heart Day, Miss Ayesha Saeed from Rawalpindi participated in a radio show on FM 94 – Health & Sports Studio to promote awareness about heart health and the psychological factors linked with cardiac conditions.
The session highlighted the importance of understanding both the physical and psychological aspects of cardiac health, helping listeners recognize heart-related concerns, understand the role of mental well-being in cardiac care, and learn about common comorbidities associated with cardiac conditions and their appropriate management. Through this initiative, we contributed to spreading awareness about heart health, comorbidity and its management, psychological well-being, and the importance of holistic cardiac care, supporting the broader goal of improving awareness and access to cardiac rehabilitation.
