Islamabad Breast Cancer Awareness Session Held in DGHS

Breast cancer awareness Session was organized by Directorate General Health Services Islamabad to share knowledge, importance of early detection, role of lady health workers and CHWs in carrying out Breast Self Examination, engagement of communities and psychological and well being support to breast cancer patients in the Communities. The event was organized jointly by District Health Office Islamabad, Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning-PILL and Pink Ribbon Pakistan. District Health Officer Dr. Syeda Rashida Batool, Dr. Tayyeba Kiran, Omer Aftab and Adnan Chohan shared learning and experience with Communities, Patients and Policy makers.
