Breast Cancer Awareness Session & Defeat Cancer Champions Recruitment – Saanjh Studio
On 22 October 2026, the Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning (PILL), in collaboration with SAANJH, organised a breast cancer awareness and Defeat Cancer Champions recruitment session at Saanjh Studio.
The session was facilitated by Dr. Ahlam Tariq, Health Communication Specialist, Clinical Psychologist and Breast Cancer Survivor, and Ms. Meherwish Deep Naz, Clinical Psychologist and Pre-Doctoral Research Fellow at PILL.
Dr. Ahlam shared her personal experience of breast cancer, highlighted the importance of early detection, and provided a practical demonstration of how to perform breast self-examination. Ms. Meherwish discussed how individuals can contribute to breast cancer awareness through the Defeat Cancer initiative. The interactive session encouraged participants to become advocates for breast cancer awareness, promote early detection, and support others within their communities.
