Data Saves Lives – Awareness & Engagement Session
In commemoration of World Breast Cancer Research Day, the PILL Hyderabad Team organised a “Data Saves Lives” Awareness & Engagement Session at LUMHS, Jamshoro, led by Dr. Muhammad Arif Khan, Provincial Director Research, Administration and Engagements, Sindh.
The session brought together doctors and researchers to emphasise the vital role of high-quality health data, research, and evidence-based decision-making in advancing breast cancer prevention, treatment, and care.
Dr. Arif Khan engaged participants in meaningful discussions on how reliable data can strengthen research, guide policy, improve healthcare systems, and ultimately contribute to better outcomes for people affected by breast cancer.
A key outcome of the session was the successful engagement and recruitment of Data Champions, who will support the Data Saves Lives initiative by promoting data-driven research and awareness within their professional networks.
The session concluded with strong participation, meaningful dialogue, and a shared commitment to strengthening breast cancer research through better use of data and evidence.
