Free Medical Camp on Mental and Physical Well-being of Patients Held by PILL Quetta Team

On 23rd February 2025, Ishrat Husain Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning – Quetta team conducted a successful Free Medical Camp for the Mental and Physical well-being of patients with aiming specially at Severe mental health Illness. The camp included general physical check-ups, looking for metabolic syndrome markers and other side effects of psychotropics. Patients were provided with extensive and multidisciplinary consultation by Psychiatrists, General Practitioners, lifestyle modification, Informational care regarding Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder pamphlets in all local languages (Urdu, Pashto, Balochi, Persian, and Dari), and counseling services by expert psychologists and volunteers from Pediatric and Gynae-Obs departments.
