Peshawar Breast Cancer Awareness Session Held With LHWS Community

Under the Moving on ABC (NIHR 205561) Defeat Cancer Initiative, a Breast Cancer Awareness and Breast Self-Examination (BSE) Training Session was conducted at BHU Sufaid Dherai, Peshawar.
A total of 36 LHWs and 2 LHSs participated, strengthening their knowledge and practical skills in breast self-examination, early identification of warning signs, and timely referral.
The trained LHWs and LHSs will extend BSE awareness to women in their assigned communities, serve as Community Awareness Champions, and support patient identification and recruitment for the Moving on ABC project.
